Great garden, fantastic beer.

We stayed at this inn in 2019 and now. In 2019 the atmosphere outside in the beer garden was nicer. Today we were in the large guest room, but in my opinion the side room of the house is more comfortable. We only saw this later. Otherwise the food was tasty and sufficient. It was also perfectly priced. The service was courteous too. So all in all, if we had sat in the cozy guest room, we would have given it 4 stars. It was just like a large dining room. Still very recommendable when the weather is nice.

Awesome place. Ate her 3 days in a row. Service is lovely. The beer is great and the food is literally amazing. Best German food: knödel, roast, bratwurst, the works! Probably the best place in town. On Friday we had some proper live schlager music. It was awesome!

I was completely convinced of this restaurant’s greatness when the apfelblaukraut ended up being incredible. I used to use red cabbage as an example of how bland German food could be, but now I could never do that again. Instead, I’ll tell my German friends that this place got it perfect. The service here is fantastic and they have heat lamps for the outside!

Tourist restaurant in an exposed location directly on the market. The service inattentive and listless, you can tell that it is mostly seasonal workers. The food was neat and tasty, but that can't save the overall impression.

Operation is incredibly quick. Food tastes very good, priced above the comparison to restaurants in the vicinity of similar very good quality, but reasonable. Dish sizes are large to very large, even the "small" dishes for the low price are enough for hungry, normal eaters.

A rustic, beautiful beer garden with 2 additional wooden huts, in case the weather is not so nice. Radiant heaters round off the cosiness. The menu is very extensive and tasty. A quality standard that is second to none. The drinks, ordered and whoosh, they were already on the table. Dying of thirst is not an issue. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We loved staying here and can highly recommend the Gasthaus Neuhaus. Price / performance top. Reservation can't hurt. 2 people always find a place.

Gasthaus with beer garden in the brewery style in a central location of Berchtesgaden. Top cuisine with mainly Bavarian specialties. High-quality. Fast and very friendly service. Reservations are currently not possible for the beer garden. My full recommendation.

Very tasty food. Super great waitresses. We ate here after climbing the Watzmann and it was really good. The schnitzel can be taken, the cheese spaetzle should be taken and half the duck must be taken. (Got duck with dumplings and red cabbage for 19.50 €, cheese spaetzle around 9 €) Greetings to the cook, a must in Berchtesgarden.

Excellent restaurant in the middle of beautiful Berchtesgaden. Food is great, the price is still reasonable. The service was relatively quick and attentive. Recommendation!

Delicious food and good service

Great place, we went there twice in 3 days! The service is good, everything looks really organised between the waiters. The food is also delicious, a real taste of Bavarian food. You might have to queue for a table on some days especially for dinner but the wait is not really long. And they also take reservations.

We were here on 4 evenings during our holiday week. Short and sweet. The food was delicious every time. The beer was brought in "record time". On average, less than 2 minutes passed from ordering to bringing the drinks. The staff was always friendly.

The food is okay, but the quality could still be improved a lot. Classic Bavarian cuisine: primarily fatty meat (knuckle of pork, roast pork, etc.), but also fish and salads. There is a lot going on in the beer garden in summer, so it may take time. long until you are served, even if the waitresses and waitresses are very friendly. Priced okay for the location.

Good middle-class inn with a large beer garden. Make a reservation at peak times. Bavarian menu with a lot of variety. Nice service. Capacity approx. 200 places in the beer garden and approx. Over 120 places inside. In the rush hour between 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm a bit hectic. Unfortunately my burger wasn't very hot anymore, but it tasted good. Recommendable!

May's very good beers. A great place to rest while exploring Adolf's favorite village. I haven't eaten, but the Dan card and what I saw on other guests' tables looks encouraging.

Very good cuisine, extraordinary desserts. Service is not always up to date (wrong drink, but replaced immediately) but always friendly. Reservation is advisable. Debit cards and Visa are accepted. Dogs welcome. Nice location in the center.

One of the first time in a german inn where the service was quick, and also friendly. Suited for kids, the menu is typically bavarian, food tastes good and the price is right. It is very well served in quantity, even the kid’s menu.

The food was terrific. Just delicious. Whether starter, main course or dessert. Also nice flair from the restaurant. The only thing I didn't like, that we waited about 15 minutes or even a little longer at the entrance without any comment, that it took a moment. Unfortunately they were ignored. Unfortunately, we also had to wait 45 minutes for our main course because our order was not sent correctly. But anyway, a free drink was offered as an excuse. Can also happen. The main thing is that it was solved nicely. Otherwise really recommendable.

Me and my friend had burgers - taste was below average but even worse both of us got food poisoning and we only had food there.

I had the Schnitzel vom Kalb and it was really good, however the fries were below expectations and the service not the best.

I mean you can saw the review rate already. The place is great, so if you think about it just go. Great food, good service and nice environment. Lighting good be a little bit better thought. Some tables on the wall don't have good lighting.

Honestly, one of my favorite meals in all of Germany. We got the neuhaus menu, which perfectly fed my wife and me. The roast pork was amazing and I loved the semolina dumpling soup. My wife claims the Bavarian cream dessert is one of her top ten favorite desserts of all time. For 20 euros, it's hard to beat this offer.

Very charming restaurant with live music that pulls off “this is Germany”! The terrasse is definitely packed with both tourists and locals especially night time is just lovely with the lighting which made the area very romantic! The staffs were very friendly and they have no problem with English. But you have to look for your own table as they are very busy. If you are with 2 and see some people using big tables when it’s so packed then don’t hesitate to just ask them if you can share the table with them (I have seen many people doing it). The food are very delicious and portions were very good! Their menu was written in both English and German. You can even order 1L beers just like Oktoberfest and you will witness Germans drinking up 1L without a problem. The location is so lovely that you can always go to the surrounding area to stroll around before or after coming to this place. I definitely recommend other guests to come and drink or eat here. One down side was the 2 persons meat platters were sold out :( it was a great approach of staffs to give a suggestions for some alternatives but we really wanted to have the share platters. In the end we had to rush ourselves to point out which menu we wanted as the waiter was standing there waiting or us to decide. Perhaps he could have give us more time by saying “I will come back in a second” instead of standing there since it made us stress out even though we know it was not his intentions. Or he could have told us when he handed out the menu which dishes can’t be served since it’s sold out.

Great beer garden

We were there in late August 2019. Call in advance to reserve was needed. Good food. We particularly like the dish of pork knuckle, crispy skin outside tender meat inside. Would recommend the dish. Service was good and staff were friendly and courteous. The prices was reasonable. We liked it so much that we made an extra effort driving from Hallstatt to go there for dinner.

Nice restaurant with beer garden, which belongs to the Hotel Edelweiss. We were there several times and we always fix. The food was plentiful and very delicious. The service very friendly and accommodating. Especially the desserts were great. We recommend.

Lovely authentic Austrian beer garden with excellent food, outstanding beer, great vibe. Service is extremely friendly (although a little slow) but you don’t mind because it’s so charming. Great Austrian ‘umm paa-paa’ music. Highest recommendation.
